Western leftists really not beating the allegations of benefitting too much from living in the Imperial Core to be considered proles.
Of course, I don’t know how much he makes in a month from his videos. He may fall under petite-bourgeois if he has people on his payroll for stuff like editing and marketing. It would mean his class interests have aligned with NATO over AES. He’s also been a liberal AFAIK, never a full-on socialist. How you can understand intersectionality and remain a lib is beyond me.
Well he’s on Nebula and they have a bunch of other NATO libs on there. And they didn’t back First/Second Thought when hasbra came out asking for the to remove them for their support of Palestine after October 7th. So good chance he’s indeed more in line with most of the Western “left”.
It’s too bad because he does put out a lot of great content, but it seems he has a long way to go towards showing solidarity with AES.
He also gave a shout out to Yugopnik I think in one of his videos, as someone further left in the pipeline than himself but still with good stuff to say it (at least I think that’s what he was saying).
Tbf, Yugopnik, on the surface, is very much relatable to any western ‘leftist’ in that some of his videos focuses on culture, aesthetics, and vibes
Besides that, completely different in politics, likely based on his geopolitical stances (he does not take the U.S state dep position, to say the least) and support for AES (being yugonostalgic and pro-China)

That’s fair. I’ve only ever heard him on the Deprogram and never actually watched his videos tbh lol.
