I know nothing about Goff other than this one convent, but on the basis of that, the dude is a legend.

Edit: I’ve not been paying super close attention to NZ domestic politics, but this:

Peters, who is also deputy prime minister, told reporters that he had made the decision to sack Phil Goff without first consulting Prime Minister Christopher Luxon.

When it was pointed out that Luxon was the leader of New Zealand, Peters responded: “I know he’s the prime minister, I made him the prime minister.”

Rings of some serious internal conflict in the Government.

Streisand effect in full force here. Wonder if the comment t would’ve gone under the radar and they could’ve delay with Goff quietly.

What am I saying, Peters doing something quietly, yea right.
