I’ve not seen the rhubarb and custard ones. Mine has lemon meringue pie custard creams, and neopolitan ice cream bourbons. I think there’s some hot cross bun custard creams(?) still hanging around from Easter. I was expecting those to have gone by now. They had some strawberry custard creams a couple of years ago, and I’ve been hoping they will return.
I’d say they have less snap than butter cookies, slightly denser, more akin to shortbread.

I went back and I don’t see them anymore, but it has also been a while. They seem to cycle through these limited edition versions far too quickly.
