Tyler O’Neill is a total Opening Day cheat code. The former Boston Red Sox outfielder continued a remarkable streak.
The current Baltimore Orioles slugger took the field with an Opening Day home run in five consecutive seasons. He brought that streak to six years Thursday with a three-run blast off Toronto Blue Jays starter Jose Berrios at Rogers Centre.

The 29-year-old benefited this winter when he joined another American League East team on a three-year, $49.5 million contract with the Orioles.
O’Neill blasted 31 home runs in his lone season with the Red Sox in 2024. He launched a solo shot in the eighth inning of Boston’s Opening Day win on the road against the Seattle Mariners.
