    Bulma intentionally opened fire on Goku twice in 3 episodes lol, he deserved it the 2nd time though…

    In the subs Roshi was going to give them a Phoenix until he remembers that it died of food poisoning? Lol. In the dub it’s a magic carpet and it’s at the cleaners.

        I had the English audio track and the subtitles both enabled at the same time and I just rolled with it lol, they vary quite a bit

            I believe it’s a Blu-ray rip, it’s got both audio tracks and the subtitles too. It’s not too distracting, I mostly ignore the subtitles.

    Hey all! I won’t be able to join you on the rewatch of Dragonball, but I just wanted to wish you all a good time on your journey. I updated the code for the bot a bit to make things easier on Tori-Bot to do a rewatch like this. However, I do want to make sure to recognize the effort that @Biskii@ani.social has put in to this. There is still plenty that they have to do manually to make these threads work nicely, so a hat tip to them.

    I am going to work on some future improvements to the bot to make this kind of use-case work a little nicer, but I got the low hanging fruit already, so the future changes (episode batching) will take a bit of reworking things under the hood.

    Let’s start Akira Toriyama masterpiece.

    Ep 1 Wow, Opening is great. I love cute little Goku and Bulma. He is so innocent. Also just found out Goku is inspired by Wukong.

    Ep 2 Bulma really give older sister vibe. Wait, Mai is older? than current version?

    Ep 3 Hell Yeah, Master Roshi is here. LMAO, Bulma didn’t even realise.

      I started with the dub, but honestly, I think I’m going to try and watch both every week. Will be interesting watching them almost side by side.

          Off screen in Dragon Ball Super, and in the Super manga, it explains that Pilaf and gang wished to be younger, but they didn’t specify how much younger and it made them babies
