I’ve seen this about ten times on Lemmy in the last week.
Sorry about that. I checked this sub pretty thoroughly before posting it but I don’t really know how I could have checked outside this sub.
I think it’s a flaw in the nature of Lemmy, and there might not be anything that can be done about it.
If there’s a photo of a naked blonde twisted with her ass and chest in view taken in public, it’ll get submitted to:
/c/ass
/c/cuteass
/c/blondes
/c/publicnudity
/c/boobs
Etc.
The solution I was presented with last time I mentioned it on Lemmy was to block the communities or posters in question, which is a ridiculous idea.
Summit has a thing where it marks all instances of a crosspost as read when you see one of them. Combined with “hide read” that may do what you want.
Neat, might have to grab that instead.
