Oh shit, I missed that the new Dark Side of the Ring season started. Guess I have even more wrestling content for the weekend.
Reddit, Twitter, and Kbin refugee. Bluesky is cool, though.

It’s definitely a bit of a ball ache for me. Fortunately, my family’s getting together in the early afternoon and I typically start WWE shows late so I can skip all the filler, so it shouldn’t impact me too much. Last year the solar eclipse was the Monday after Mania and we were out of town to see it. The place we were staying didn’t have WiFi or cell service, so I had to hike up a hill and sit in the woods to download shows the next day.
That seems right. The Wikipedia page for WCW Saturday Night says it typically started at 6:05, and it seems like prime time doesn’t start until 8.
Since they keep including ‘primetime’ it their list of qualifiers I’m guessing there was a Saturday morning show or something that ran longer, but I can’t figure out what it would be. I’m guessing it would be from Georgia Championship Wrestling, but everything says they ran Saturday nights.
Honestly, I’m more looking forward the Big Gay Brunch than I am Wrestlemania.
What indie shows are people exited for? Outside of the Collective I’m not sure what’s worth catching this year.
Much like WWE used to do retro shows, we were just having a throwback to the kbin days.
I remember hearing they dropped HBO from the name because HBO is associated with more adult oriented content and they wanted to to show they have more than that. But since the name change they’ve been dropping Cartoon Network shows every time you turn around.
This is just a guess, but looking at satellite images it looks like there could be dry river beds in the desert. Maybe the area gets enough rain to have them, but not enough for them to lead anywhere.
While I’m sure it could be a great game, it’ll never happen. WB just canceled a Wonder Woman game and shut down its developer. If they don’t have faith on a game based on one of their most well known characters, there’s no way they’d even green light a game based on a lower tier hero. A detective game based on the Question would be great too, but since he’s not one of DC’s top heroes it’ll never happen.
I’m not sure how much of that was dedication and how much was realizing I don’t do a whole lot without internet access.
