How come? I’ve only ever played VI but I’ve heard of others that still stick with V.
Seems to be a common Civ trope to skip some versions. Got hooked on II, somehow entirely missed III, fell in love with IV, never gave V a chance, adore VI to this day, might some day give VII a chance.
I wish I knew about these games earlier. I’ll probably give the earlier ones a shot at some point. I hear Pirates is good too. Ah…500hrs into just this one iteration with its expansions so far and still more to discover.
Probably habit, I have an extensive group of mods/modpacks for IV/V and I am pretty comfortable with them.
VI just didn’t grab that me much.
