So, Nichole (17F) and I (18nb) have been talking a lot more recently. We’ve been friends since sophomore year (she was a freshman) but we haven’t really talked until recently.

I started to gain feelings for her after we did more stuff together, like calling.

Quite recently, we were discussing sex, and she said she would be down to have sex with me.

She also said that we could date if I wanted to, but if I didn’t see her that way, we could just be friends with benefits.

    Assuming you aren’t a troll since I’ve seen other posts and we’ve interacted before, some people can be in denial about whether their crush actually likes them. Don’t worry, she does! 🌺

    I also wouldn’t bang someone or even be “down to have sex with” I wasn’t into, and I wouldn’t tell them we could date if they wanted to.

    Friends with benefits exist, but she’s saying you guys can be if you don’t want to date her. Doesn’t really sound platonic to me. (I’ve also never had sex with anyone who wasn’t my current girlfriend, but still.)
