    I’m not sure how to respond as i feel my point was completely taken out of context. I’m not criticizing the person, I’m criticizing the product.

    I’m in no way shape or form suggesting that people can or can not enjoy things how they enjoy them. I am asserting that, on average, people who overuse sugar in coffee are consuming excessively bitter coffee that needs the sugar to balance it out.

    Over roasting coffee is an actual tactic by businesses that allows them to find the cheapest bean sourcing available but maintain a consistent flavor. Actual good coffee can be costly, and every detail (soil ph, rainfall, temperature, altitude, etc) can change the flavor. Consumers offset the resulting bitterness from over roasting with excess sugar. The combination of over roasting and using sugar to cover it up also makes it hard to notice when the coffee is stale.

    Examples of these kind of over roasted options would be any coffee in any diner, any chain coffee shop that has a dedicated national roaster, and most coffee available at a grocery store.

    My follow on point is that if this dude is actually a coffee superhero, his coffee wouldn’t have this issue. If his coffee still has this issue, why did they waste a precious slot on him when they could just grab starbucks?

    My initial comment was an attempt to be a bit silly, but thank you for the personal attack.
