The TOS on Firefox is a bit shit, but TLE is also going the click bait angle lately, last week he was riling up viewers about some comments from Fedora’s Matt Miller about Flatpaks on Flathub (an area that Miller is not an expert in, nor should he be considered one), Nick saying he could no longer respect Fedora in the Video, but then in the comments walking it back. Youtubers are going to Youtube

I like at least one of Nico’s other videos, and while he makes technically correct points…

    “Nothing changed”

If this is true, then Mozilla can delete their entire Firefox license. Nothing will change a second time.

I also saw this comment which I agree with:

The Linux Experiment is probably being too harsh, for this issue, but leaving Mozilla for understandable reasons (enough is enough etc), whereas you are giving them too much benefit of the doubt.

When it comes to personal privacy and sovereignty, nobody should ever give a legal document the benefit of the doubt. I think it is rational and healthy to search for a worst possible scenario in order to know what a company can do with a document you have accepted.

watched the first minute, and this exactly went how i expected it to go, Nicco is such an apologist, saying that Firefox is basically copying Edge, Chrome, Safari… Is the hardest cope I heard so far…

Mozilla fucked up, end of story
