A photo of Army biologists was on a list of images to be purged, seemingly because it mentioned they were recording data about fish that included their gender.
That automated program flagged at least tens of thousands of historical photos, most of which aren’t as silly as ‘haha plane gay’ but of actual people (some of whom are still very much alive) in a blatant attempt to literally whitewash American history. Like, they’ve flagged the photos of literal Medal of Honor recipients because their skin tone is darker than eggshell, this is objectively horrifying. The loss of even one of those files is completely disrespectful on a number of levels
They won’t, they will be reviewed by a human being at some point and reinstated, they’ve been flagged by an automated program.

No they aren’t. There’s too many. And nobody wants to be the one to get the blame. They’re going to blame it on AI.
