It’s a pretty rough trailer with a lot of still images. Unfortunately, I think this is looking to be more S2 than S1, but we’ll see.
Disregarding animation, it also suffers from the arc it’s adapting being really long. I think to finish it would take probably take until S5, and there’s not really a natural point for a season break anywhere IIRC.
I am trying to keep my expectations low. tbh, I didn’t think that the spot they chose for the end of season 2 was season break material either. I’m trying to remember what happens after that. I imagine they’re just gonna do the same thing and call it a break after he punches whatever big bad is around 25 more chapters or so in, i guess.

like the arc doesn’t really finish till he punches god out of Gauro, right?, or maybe the telepath underground? It’s been a while, I’m a bit fuzzy.

IIRC it ends 5-10 chapters after the Garo fight because he has to punch them back in time and then there’s an epilogue.
Hmm.

They’ve got season 2 ending at chapter 85. The monster association arc ends at 170. So they’ll have to squish a bit or move some of the smaller fights around, but they can probably finish off Psykos this season.

139 is apparently the end of the Psykos fight, but ending it there would also mean ending it mid-fight with a bunch of other monsters IIRC. 54 chapters, many of which are big hype S-Class hero fights, seems like it’d be hard to cut down, idk.
Prepare the worst, hope for the best, I guess. 🤞
