I had a little credit card radio. I think it was a Casio. I’m not sure whether I still have it somewhere.
How was the sound? I mostly listen to talk radio and they sound like fun.
I seem to remember not great, I think, it was a pain to tune in. For speech it’s probably fine.
I select community to post in based on topic or a theme, rather than medium because those are too unfocused for me.
I get that but a broad “videos” or “mealtime videos” community is not “nowhere”. !nowhereelsetoshare@sh.itjust.works is a fallback, anything less broad is preferrable.
Also, the related Technology Connections channel gets most of its uploads posted there so this would certainly fit.
Forgot about mealtime video, will try to keep it in mind. It would be perfect for this but then again Technoan guy seems seriously ill and I don’t want to disturb people seeking more casual watching.
He’s one of my favourite people on the platform so he’s always welcome here. I noticed his voice différence right away so I see that point as well. I do think we could use a (retro) tech focused video community around here somewhere however.
