    You can’t just will your emotional reactions to manifest in different ways

    You kinda can, it just takes a lot of effort. I had a really stressful upbringing, and so anxiety began to manifest as keen focus pretty much by necessity.

      Sure, with a lot of effort over time. Of course people can change. I meant in the sense of “I’ll just decide to cry instead of rage now.”
