Hey all, I’ve been looking for an app to replace Flatastic as it’s a convenient way to track shared expenses, shopping lists, chores and notes. However, it has ads and basic features locked behind a SaaS model. Ideally such a replacement would be free and open source, but as long as it works and doesn’t sell my data, I’d buy something for a few euros. Suggestions are appreciated!

    I’d like to second this.

I’m using fkn google keep for my list cause im able to keep synced with my wife.

Grocy is too big. I can’t just write “apples” in grocy and be done. I have to tell grocy what am apple is, and how they are packaged first, and I’m honestly tired of it.

Nextcloud seems like a pain to set up when all that is actually needed is a check mark list, reordering the list, and to enter contents as text.

If you don’t find a FOSS one, my wife and I have used OurGroceries for years and it’s a dead simple shared list app that can do more if you want, but it’s hidden behind the simple bit. I’ve been thinking I should build a selfhosted version myself because if it went offline, I’d be lost. I use it for quick lists if I’m working on something and need a bunch of stuff from the garage/toolbox, or a list of things I want to research later, etc, etc.
