It’s a real situation, but one that western media and state-backed outlets try to distort in order to push a narrative based on exaggeration to outright falsehoods (in the case of Adrian Zenz). The UN report at least tries to stick to the actual facts at hand, even if it is biased, but the media treats Adrian Zenz as just as valid a source for the purposes of misrepresentation.
