I am really astonished about the big amount of alternatives we’ve got in europe.
But I think this is a hard one: Steam.
I have switched from windows to linux a few years ago and I don’t plan to go back. Steam has the advantage of the integrated proton-service which allows playing many windows games on linux.
Do we have something similar?

Similar in what nuance? You need some place to pay money to? Try GOG. You can use Heroic UI if you want. It also helps with wine/proton managing.
Basically I’m interested in a service, where I can buy games with a linux support. And without having to sail the high seas 🏴☠️.
It seems GOG will be it.
