    Were they able to change it to 16:9 with out cropping the top and bottom? I can’t remember. I’d rather have 4:3 if it means I get all of the picture

      It was cropped out. Possibly missing detail and contrast from the original animation.

        I was afraid of that. I know that’s how the old Z 16:9s were. I would never knock anybody for watching in any format, but my brain can’t get around the fact that something is missing

          Some frames for Kai were redrawn for 16:9 but suposibly not all were. Many frames were “remastered” for 16:9 but with some inconsistancies. Dragonball Z Kai had an interesting developing history in general.
