I noticed the only moderator hasn’t been active on Lemmy for 10 months. I’ll ping them in the comments.

That moderator has created helluva lot of communities but it appears that he is no longer active here and taking care of them.
Yeah, I checked a couple of them and most of them are empty. Maybe sopuli admins could delete the empty ones and transfer the active communities to new moderators.
If any of those empty communities become active and a need comes to transfer their ownership and appoint moderators, I can be contacted.
