So many people are creating chaos and flinging shit at each other from platform to platform
From a “media ecology” perspective, examples of this:
-
In USA, the audience of Rupert Murdoch’s Fox News HDTV flinging shit at MSNBC HDTV network. “The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal and MSDNC, and the fake news, CNN and ABC, CBS and NBC" using shit-talk, shit-bird Tweet-speech like MS D. N. C instead of the name “MSNBC”. This is street gangs of media platforms diss-talking other gang members of other media platforms!
-
The case has been made that Fox News is an entirely unique mindset and language: “the Reddit threads, or the support groups on Facebook, as people have sought ways to mourn loved ones who are still alive. The discussions consider a loss that Americans don’t have good language for, in part because the loss itself is a matter of language: They describe what it’s like to find yourself suddenly unable to speak with people you’ve known your whole life. They acknowledge how easily a national crisis can become a personal one. At this point, some Americans speak English; others speak Fox.”
-
There is no supernatural. All religion stories are science fiction with rituals and single-book media venues (Church for Bible, Mosque for Quran, Synagogue for Torah, Temple for Upanishads, etc). It is ideal to approach these like you would write and spoken languages, like how Spanish speakers can exist in Mexico in Americas, and in Europe in the nation of Spain. The same for Roman Catholic (Pope) religion: Spain and Mexico are connected by year 1492 and The Bible media platform and written / spoken Spanish language.

Malala is one of the best educators on point #3 and she is huge on getting everyone to use education and learning about the world so we are not in so many tribal interpretation conflicts. On Malala’s differences with the Taliban: “If you hit a Talib with your shoe, then there would be no difference between you and the Talib. You must not treat others with cruelty and that much harshly, you must fight others but through peace and through dialogue and through education.”
-
Malala again: “If Christians, Hindus or Jews are really our enemies, as so many say, why are we Muslims fighting with each other?” ― Malala Yousafzai, I am Malala: The Story of the Girl Who Stood Up for Education and was Shot by the Taliban

Media Ecology in year 2025 is exhausting to your/our/my mind because understanding is so broken
The situation has become so horrific in year 2024 and year 2025 that it is a constant source of exhaustion. Translating ideas between media platforms (Reddit to Lemmy, Bluesky to Twitter, Facebook to Reddit, Twitter to Reddit, TikTok on Reddit, Fox News to Lemmy, UK BBC to USA New York Times, etc, etc, etc). Let alone each individual Lemmy Community / Reddit Subreddit / podcast channel / YouTube channel / Bluesky popular person, etc.
The wrecking of common understanding, “all being on the same page”, is the outcome of the year 2013 onward “Russia Internet Research Agency” + “Cambridge Analytica” war against the World Wide Web, the War Against Reality that has been raging since 2013:
