It’s no secret this game follows the current micro transaction model and that’s unlikely to change any time soon. Still, there are bound to be areas that could be improved on without breaking the overall design of the game. What sort of “reasonable” changes to the game can you come up with? I’ll start-
- Reduced Cost Wonder Picks Between Friends
I think this would give people incentive to expand their friends list and return to the Wonder Pick area more often to look for the pulls their friends are bragging about. A simple reduction of 1 Token per rarity level would be a great bonus to Wonder Picking with friends IMO.
- Pack Opening Duels
Imagine being able to open packs with a friend, either simultaneously or through some back and forth like the trade setup. A minor mini game could be setup where each player reveals one card at a time, accumulating points for each card based on rarity. At the end of the pack the player with the highest total points is the winner. Rewards could be something like a Wonder Pick Hourglass and Shinedust for the winner and Shinedust for the loser. Small items that don’t take away from their pack selling business.
Thoughts? Ideas? Crickets?
I have two things. One is simple. Combine some of these “results” screens after you do something. No reason I should have to tap 5 times before I can thank someone after a battle. Clean that shit up. Same for entering a passphrase in a private match. Once you click on private match the first thing you should be presented with is a text box that you can immediately type in.
The second and most important suggestion is to prevent players from conceding right before you get your last point. Make conceding on your opponent’s turn have a 5 second countdown allowing the opponent to finish up any game-winning moves. Leave an exception to this if your opponent’s turn has taken more than 10-15 seconds or you’ve been presented with a choice you have to make (ie Sabrina etc.).
