Summary

Elon Musk denied reports that he plans to step down from his role as a special government employee, calling them “fake news.”

The White House and Musk both rejected claims he would leave at the end of his 130-day term on May 30.

Well yea, he won’t step off. He will get pushed off by the other sycophants. He failed, lost favor with the King so the other courtiers will push him aside. US government now has the same political system as a Medieval Kingdom.

He didn’t fall, he did all the stuff Republicans really wanted to do but knew they’d be punished for electorally. If they push him out before the midterms and blame him for everything, they could limit the electoral damage by escaping responsibility. He’d be happy to take on the role of scape goat.

To cut those kings and peasants some slack, medieval kingdoms weren’t nearly as centralized and Kings didn’t have nearly as much power or leeway as the American President. You’re probably thinking of absolute monarchy in the modern age.
