Banana for scale
I will measure the swords when I get home
They are taller that the mg itself.
I would get a light box but I live in a small apartment and space is a big issue
Not that I could tell. I assembled the kit raw, then took everything apart for paint and topcoat, then put everything back together. Nothing broke during that process. I don’t remember feeling anything different when cutting parts of the runner either. As far as I am concerned, it’s just a recolor kit.
I got it as a Christmas present later
I also got an mg aile strike and an hg zaku ii real type
This looks sweet. Everything you post has been awesome.
I would be willing to say so long as it is mecha or at least anime adjacent. I would even be open to Jurassic park models, but I agree that I don’t want to come here and see a 64 Impala or the USS Kittyhawk (even if it’s in azure lane)
99% of my builds have some kind of extra detail work, even if it’s just panel lining. But most have paint too.
Not a mod, if it’s plamo it’s cool. Whether it be Gundam or Evo or Zoids. I don’t think this community is big enough to exclude posts just because it’s Kotobukiya and not Bandai.
This one is the el cheapo Wing EW, but it has the same problems with the shoulders that buster rifle.
Per the title, I’m gonna try to be more active here until others pick up the slack. There are almost 500 of us in this community so if we take turns, we could get a fresh post every day for a year and a half. We can do better that 1 person posting a project once a month.
I’ve done a couple of HG Zaku’s. They are fun
Thanks for the info. I will have to try that soon.
I haven’t done an mg zaku yet. How does it compare to the hg kits?
I’ve done RG Wing Zero and RG Wing. I’m currently working on a full color change MG Wing.
I was more interested in the method. I guess I should have been more specific. Did you use a detail brush? Did tape off and airbrush?
I know this is an old thread, but what did you use for panel lining?
I started out building RG but they just seemed too small to be appealing to me. I’m very happy with the 1/100 scale.
