291·19 days agoJust a small comment about LW: we all see the impact of Lemm.ee going down, and it only hosts a few active communities.
9 out of the 10 most active communities on Lemmy are LW, and you can quickly see how prevalent they are for the platform: https://lemmyverse.net/communities?order=active_day
Adding yet another community to that instance adds to the impact of it potentially going down.
9·19 days agoAt first I’d probably try lemmy.zip, as it’s “A Lemmy community for everyone, with a focus towards tech, PCs, and gaming.” (in its own words). It seems fitting.
