Some people on Lemmy say it’s a ghost town too. If you want niche content, we don’t have it. I’m not going back, but I do miss it. I would love to be able to post a random technical question and get a good variety of responses, and you can here, but only for certain subjects.
It’s the difference between what a small town (albeit one with a university) and a large city can support.
I don’t want this place to become Reddit, though with the non commercial aspect I don’t think it would be, it would be good if we could attract some of Reddits better posters though. So I support what Blaze is doing both for selfish reasons and because I think people deserve better than corporate monopolies.
I’m honestly not sure. I’ve lived and worked in developing countries, so I have seen what happens when someone gets sent to another country for work. Remittances are very high, and can lead to a better quality of life for those in the home country. That’s certainly not guaranteed though.
My comment was about addressing the barely disguised racism of “they’re stealing our jobs”
This is hardly a U.S. issue though. Dubai has south and southeast Asians, Malaysia has Laotians and Cambodians, Italy has Albanians, Argentina (before it went to shit) had paraguayans, Spanish Guardiennes have been a thing forever in Paris, on and on.
Backpack has a strap for each shoulder, messenger bag goes across one shoulder, then a cross body strap keeps it secure
I ride with a messenger bag all the time, if you are on and off frequently it’s the best solution. For longer trips (more than an hour) I like tank bags. Get a messenger bag with a cross strap so it doesn’t flap around.
Murica, nothing says liberation like an occupying military force
I have had this argument so many times that I’ve given up.
Conservatives believe that once the job stealing immigrants are gone
Two flat tires on a school bus
Yahoo! Answers was the only place to learn how babby was formed though. Quora was never so poignant

This extension also shims a few additional JavaScript attributes, like navigator.vendor or the global chrome object, to pass common browser checks
I don’t use google, so I won’t submit any data to them through docs. My work is very niche, but is something that researchers are interested in. I have pointed people to alternatives, but they rarely use them.
It’s quite frustrating as I would like to contribute
Nah, she seems sweet
Edit: Amazing how many images of this photo have Weinstein cropped out. I’m sure it’s a coincidence
One time a guy, I was with, was like; “all your male friends[ want to fuck you]© you should stop seeing them” … And I was like {all your male friends want fuck me too™ we should stop seeing them"¢ and that’s when I learned toxic masculinity can be funny~ when I do it®
Yur rite🤾♂️prononicitating correct like makes it much more 🦐
Do you know if there is there an android version of this? Their link points to the Apple store.

I haven’t read the white paper yet, but the Guardian app is full of trackers. Would this be a safer option than Signal?
I like the idea, I’m not sure of the implementation.
Here’s the Exodus Report on their app

There is the 2A left, and the people who were active in places like weekendgunnit (broadly anti government, with a lot else mixed in) on Reddit that are both very anti Russia, or at least anti Russian imperialism. So pro gun doesn’t always equate to pro conservative.
