I love these episodes where Etho just experiments with a new feature. It’s too bad not many of his ideas worked out, I feel like Minecraft’s current handling of mob mounting is counteractive to what the game encourages, especially in this latest update.
I never cared for armor trims and didn’t get how some people would get attached to one design over another, but Etho finding that smiley face with a headband pattern finally made me understand.
Great episode, the pigman farm is really satisfying. I hope Etho does follow through with his idea at the end of the episode, some more maps or one-off ideas would be great to see.
It is really satisfying to see Etho in his element like this, with everyone going to him for help. I love how everyone donated redstone despite him not having any use for it. That reveal at the end that Bdubs took Skizz’s diamonds cracked me up, too.
I’m a little concerned the charm of this series’ gimmick will be lost over time, depending on the pace they update versions.
