[I wish i’d listened to everyone telling me to go to the hospital sooner. My condition was very bad but I am stable now except unfortunately my hand had to be removed due to contracting sepsis from the infection. My doctor advised me to go to the hospital 2 days ago but I thought I could wait it out till the end of the day. The fever symptoms got worse throughout the day and I think I entered a comatose state. I only remember being rushed to the hospital and then waking up yesterday night. When my girlfriend came home from work she found me passed out half on the couch and half on the floor unresponsive. She panicked and called the ambulance services who then rushed me to hospital. This is a very important lesson in making sure you don’t pick at hangnails because I went from picking it two weeks ago to now having no hand. I have to start rehab soon. I have also had to cancel all my client visits for the following months which I am sad about.]

I was feeling very bad so I called my doctor and he told me to go to the hospital. I think I have a bit more time before it gets serious though so I’m going to go to sleep first and when I wake up hopefully my gf can drive me there (hospital 1 hour away we share a car)

Within the past hour I’ve been feeling achy and now I’m resting with an ice pack on my head because I can feel a fever coming on. I should’ve listened to my gf because she offered to take me to the hospital before she started her shift. I’m just going to brave it out for now but I think my hand is infected

Meh, I don’t think I’ll get sepsis as I don’t touch dirt and wash my hands regularly. I doubt it’ll get bad. And the antibiotics still smell okay so I don’t think they’ve gone off

My nail infection is getting worse and my finger looks almost purple/ black and I can’t feel the tip when I rub it across a surface. I’ve never had an infection like this before luckily I’ve been taking some expired antibiotics I found in my bathroom that I used when I was stung really badly by a jelly fish a few years ago. I hope they work

I don’t think anyone has been snarky to you at all and any advice you’ve gotten from the strangers in the community who you claim to be your fellow “beloved” communist queers who have given you perfect instructions on how to do some well needed self reflection, are met with offhanded posts like this which exudes that snarky behavior you claim we are subjecting you to.

I think you’re only okay with the minority of users who validate the things you say and raise no issue with how you engage with this website, yet anyone who is critical of some of your comments, you make indirect posts like this one, calling them snarky and then claim you blocked them so this contradicts everything you say here: “if people want to make a concerted effort to explain why they think certain types of posts or behaviors are bad then cool lets have that convo.”

It’s just pure projection from your part. How is anyone supposed to have this conversation you’re allegedly inviting us to have if you are putting up barriers to prevent said conversation occurring because you block anyone and everyone who disagrees with you?

You just want an army of yes men who validate your entire schtick of posting about a woman you’ve been crushing on for a year and can’t take the hint that she only wants to be your friend.
