Bear in mind that the current administration is just as likely to permit hospitals to refuse treatment to the uninsured. Then they can just die and the hospital doesn’t have to worry about pushing the costs of their treatment onto other peoples’ insurance by raising prices.

Like the IRS, increasing funding to auditing services nets more savings than the input costs.

I wouldn’t put it past him. Other presidents stuck by norms instead of flexing/reaching for power outside of the strict reading of their position. Trump 2.0 gives two shits; if the SCOTUS rebuffs him? WTF wouldn’t he delegitimize them by forcing Congress to accept his stooges as he packs the court. Where’s that hair dye guy? Or that hack judge from Florida? Or any of his lawyers the last 10 years.

I’m not the guy you’re replying to, but a broken clock being right twice a day doesn’t miraculously fix it. It’s still broken. Dude’s still an asshole, even if in this one moment he’s being ‘right’. He has already begun to dismantle the department he was appointed to as the head of. You’ll see next year, if we even get health and flu related death numbers anymore, what the impacts of his decisions, up to TODAY even, have brought.
