The “g” stands for generation. So it’s the 5th iteration of the technology versus the 2nd iteration. Whilst there are many improvements (speed, capacity, security etc) there are some negatives. (I believe mainly to do with signal penetration - i.e. getting a signal in basements, stone wall houses, being behind objects etc.)

Where I’m currently staying I have: 2G, edge, 4G and 5G signals available.

Original skinheads = good kids who generally got on really well with the Jamaican rudeboys. People were generally apolitical but were connected by class (working class) not divided by colour. Eventually created 2-tone music.

Nazi skinheads = Not remotely friends with rudeboys. Probably see them as sub-human. Haven’t created anything new musically (that I’m aware of).

Punk = type of music played by both lovely accepting people and terrible scum too.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I am so far out of Blahaj’s demographic it’s mind blowing - but still I understand that when I interact with Blahaj I have to respect the rules of the house. That’s just how federation works. Obey the house rules or don’t visit. I might not agree with Ada about every single thing, and that’s not a problem, but if I decide to visit Ada’s yard I’m not gonna disrespect her there.
