I’m so glad this is going so well! You really took me suggestion and ran with it lol. It sounds like they’re not only giving you good resources and connections, but also motivation and morale, which which I think is equally important. You just sound so invigorated! It’s kind of contagious, and makes me want to go out and organize with people, as that motivation has kind of been waning in myself recently (as I’ve burned myself out with taking on an extra side hustle or two recently to pay off some debt).

As for misusing aid money, that’s some old propaganda that I can’t believe they’re still peddling in the face of the shit we’ve seen.People would say they waste it, or Hamas steals it and turns it into bombs or something. It’s extremely obvious right now they can’t even get good and grain through Israeli checkpoints, because Israel themselves are saying they’re not letting aid through, so it’s never been proven more false than now.

Lol fair. I just have some good nostalgic memories specifically of emailing back and forth with a variety of quirky friends from different states or countries. And I was lucky to find a few super niche anime forms that had pretty good moderation and a good community and mostly stuck to them until I started going to the bigger sites years later.
