Slowly but surely, the imperial machine will be coming home. I am not sure the left is quite big enough yet to resist the US military. But then, this could also be flashpoint to heavily increase recruitment and radicalizing of people into the left, as they continue to see their Dem politicians not do anything, but leftist orgs and unions on the ground with them that are willing to fight with them are.

One of the comments was, “Whats the difference between this and the military being deployed abroad?”

100% agree with op. Just saw Happy Death Day recently for the first time and was impressed by how fun it was, but it took me a while.

Apparently shit was popping off in Los Angeles today. ICE was doing raids all over the city. I’ve seen some clips. There were flash bangs, someone almost run over by a car. I know they did stuff in Chicago and Denver before. They just attacking one city at a time to do this stuff?

It’s awful but it also seems to be causing quite the backlash. Hope it at least radicalize some people to join an organization.

Oh God. I agree some zoning laws can be changed, but everything else in that quote sounds like something a conservative would say.

I hope peertube and similar services can replace YouTube one day, but it will be difficult I suspect. Videos take up so much damn room, it’s hard to share the load on that. The people or groups who host it will take up most of the load.

Why do the voters keep voting for these people in primaries? I couldn’t believe when they reelected Diane Feinstein when she was already nearly 90.

Well you see, the problem wasn’t them, they think the problem was that Trump associated them with trans people and immigrants. Harris tried her best to say Biden enforces the border even better than Trump, but it didn’t work. So clearly, they need to be even more exclusionary with trans people and even more bloodthirsty with Palestinians and immigrants. They’ll get reelected in no time!

Not super surprised. I figured it was something similar to “If we increase the GDP enough, we all end up good! A rising tide lifts all boats!” But because GDP can go up with just rich people doing good, then it sounds a lot like trickle down to me. But I also don’t want to mischaracterize their argument if they meant something else.
