For comparison, the M1128 Stryker MGS it was meant to replace, the Chinese ZTL-11, and the Russian Sprut-SD all weigh around 20 tons.

iOS is such dogshit, I use an iPhone for gig-work apps and the lack of a back button/gesture is constantly pissing me off. Notification shade is so disorganized. Until recently you couldn’t even keep apps off your home screen, and they still gravitate towards the top. You can adjust the haptic strength of the home button (on SE), but you can’t even adjust the haptic strength of the keyboard.

“Crony” capitalism is an inevitability in a capitalist system. If someone gets enough wealth and power they will buy government influence. It’s actually an expression of the “free market” that they can buy a service that’s useful to them. Even within the private sector, powerful companies will form cartels to control the market. The only way out of this is government intervention.

Wikipedia may claim to be neutral, but even though it isn’t, that shouldn’t affect its 501© status. Non-profits are allowed to have bias.
