cool how a “cavity” search is still a thing they’re allowed to do to people.

Looks pretty vibes based.
sorry we need to direct all research funding to things that will make us win the China War, like big gun, and fast airplane!!!
lol that gif is a perfect visual representation of this!
These things are always put in the future tense. It seems like a common tactic. “So and so warns that such and such could happen”. Deaths in Gaza. Climate change. Anything that’s already happening, just make it future tense.
wtf is “modified duty” for a cop implicated in a crime?
When are the Democrats going to demand the US kicks out all the Russian students?
lib article. As if not implementing a “digital ID” is going to stop whatever the government and corporate plans are.
Can’t wait for countries to continue having antiquated and hard to use systems for the public, while the entire “backend” infrastructure gets ever more sophisticated. Surely if it isn’t convenient for me, it isn’t convenient for the government! (Wrong!)
News flash, everyone already has a national ID, everyone is already in databases, everyone is already surveilled and tracked, everyone is already restricted from doing things if they’re targeted by the government. God forbid there’s a single benefit to it that isn’t just arresting and brutalizing the enemies of white supremacy. Lets make sure everyone has to continue wasting their time navigating a mess of systems.
That sounds more like a scenario that would benefit from electronic data integration, not heuristics-based machine learning. There’s way too much stuff that still uses formats designed for human consumption.
Someone also just made a post about Austrian child “conditioning” centers or whatever. And there’s the thing in West Germany about giving orphans to pedophiles. And the “troubled teen industry” that Brace Belden experienced. What is it with the West and child torture?
That would imply they didn’t ask the people or went against their response. We don’t rven know if or how many people they marked as DNR.
insert catheter slurp on that thang
That isn’t exactly what the arrticle says, which is:
Two current and three former UnitedHealth nurse practitioners told the Guardian that UnitedHealth managers pressed nurse practitioners to persuade Medicare Advantage members to change their “code status” to DNR even when patients had clearly expressed a desire that all available treatments be used to keep them alive.
So we don’t really know that it was ever changed without consent.
“as long as it’s over 25 years old” makes it basically useless right? Probably some amendment that was snuck in by the US auto industry or something.
Are they going to block Facebook?
Thank you for the clarification!
Well probably the license for this specific adaptation or modification of it or whatever.
What is this “Futurism” website? All the headlines have this extremely combative kind of headline. The parent company website is the most soulless thing I’ve ever seen. Look at this crap: https://recurrent.io/what-we-do/
The article says the unemployment rate for software is 6.1% compared to 4.1% in the US in general. Considering a bunch of companies have just done massive layoffs in the last few months and years, is that really something that won’t go back to normal in the longer term?
