  • Autocorrect what the fuck? Models inherently conservative, wtf?

You show a vast lack of knowledge. Probably your source of information is just propaganda.

I know it’s an easy fight to pick. A trending dogma which is easy to support. You don’t really need to think, you just got pointed an easy enemy that’s easy to identify, and that’s easy to just be against and you follow that.

But the true enemy is not there.

Your heart is probably in the good place. But if you waste your strength fighting something useless is an incredible wasted of resources and spirit. You’ll achieve nothing, while the true enemy (which are human beings that doesn’t care about AI being a success or not) will keep laughing at you.

They have been oppressing you since before electricity. If you think AI is a tool needed for oppression you are deeply wrong.

  • I don’t really know how it’s better a human denying you a kidney rather than a AI.

It’s not like it’s something that makes more or less kidneys available for transplant anyway.

    Terrible example.

It would have been better to make an example out of some other treatment that does not depend on finite recourses but only in money. Still, a human is now rejecting your needed treatments without the need of an AI, but at least it would make some sense.

In the end, as always, people who has chosen the AI as the “enemy” have not understand anything about the current state of society and how things work. Another example of how picking the wrong fights is a path to failure.

  • What is sufficiently?

Last couple of summers I left the thermostat at 19°C. I prefer 21. But bills got really out of hand, so 19 it is. And not all day, for instance now in the morning I’m at 16-17, but I have a lot of blankets over and an electric blanket, so it’s cozy. I usually start heating at midday.

    Would this count?

Anyway, social conflict will not happen over this. The worst things on this regard happened a couple of years ago when prices spiked dramatically, and nothing happened.

  • I will argue that the mild part of the autism spectrum, what we call functional autism, is not a mental illness, not a disorder.

It’s like being left handed, not the most common thing, it can cause troubles in a world made for right handed people, specially if being left handed is not accepted. But by itself is just another way of being just as “healthy” and “normal” as being right handed.

I think this is an open debate. Some folks prefer it being considered an illness because they want diagnosis and treatment. Others, like me, just love to be this way, and there’s nothing I think is wrong with me. The only problem is that the world is not accommodated for people like me, just like it wasn’t accommodated for left-handed people not so long ago. But as soon as it’s 100% accepted as something normal I don’t see it causing any trouble, so if there’s no harm there’s no illness we can talk about.

  • I have a stable job that I like.

Sometimes I think I should go to interviews just to make recruiters feel insecure, “your business is not up to my expectations” “what do you mean you don’t provide flexible remote working?” “Your paycheck is just too small for me, sorry”.

I would get a laugh of of it and probably would help some fella by lowering this fuckers ego.
