5 hours agoI’ve been distro.hopping for years. I am now setting up my new home server and because I plan to also use it as a daily driver, Linux Mint is my choice. It just works. I like KDE, but it gives me too much choice, so Cinnamon it is.

I don’t want to stray too far from the mainstream stuff.
Hmmm… Color me intrigued. I never thought of a Debian + KDE combination… And I’m partial to Debian systems.
Already packed. I am also having trouble copying files due to issues with the file name (6 characters, nothing fancy). And it makes a ticking sound once in a while. I’m done with it.
yeah, that’s why I’m here, dude.
If it breaks more is because you are free to do more with it. Just try dual booting or even just via a live “install”. There’s nothing to lose and a lot to gain.
