Near the end, the host asks what his guest thinks about claims of “China stealing their thorium tech from the US” and is answer is a blunt, “no the US literally handed them their thorium research,” and even goes so far as to point out that the US had no interest in further developing thorium reactors because they have no use in creating weapons.
