It’s a stiff competition, but the idea that women are biologically incapable of flying airplanes has got to be one of the dumbest right-wing culture war talking points out there.

Edit: Also, the fact that his wife is a pilot explains a lot; I don’t know how anyone could tolerate being married to The Quartering if they weren’t away from home all the time.

On a related note, it’s so infuriating that most parts of the US would cry about “my frozen peaches” if you proposed to outlaw support for white supremacy/Nazism, and yet many of those states (including Texas and Florida) have anti-BDS laws. Apparently refusing to buy stuff from an apartheid state is more harmful to Jewish people than having elected officials regularly use racist and anti-Semitic dogwhistles.
