Agreed, OkC used to be quite all right but they took away so much of what made it unique.
I would be interested in such scripts. Why not share them here? 🙏
Am definitely human.

I looked into this not too long ago. Got them to share their user profile numbers - 50k - but I’ve a strong feeling that the majority of those are dummy test profiles.
The names of their products are really something!
That said, I’m thrilled that something like this exists and am hella curious about its day to day working.
That is depressingly insightful. See also: the internal war on everyone who isn’t a middle-aged white cis het man (and even some of them, too). Just negativity all around.
What really brings me down it’s the certainty that even if that is guy was suddenly not there anymore, there is a whole gaggle of like folk ready to continue that same rhetoric. How do you even dig yourselves out of that?
I have commented stuff like this before, and gotten it deleted (or gotten summarily banned). I have been searching for spaces where this sort of discourse is even allowed, where non-vagina-havers get to say that many men suck but it’s not only their fault and they certainly can’t fix it in a vacuum.
For any pro sport known for rowdy, destructive fans - the clubs get to pay for the police and insurance expenses.
Oh, this would bankrupt the clubs, I hear you say? Oh no. Anyway…!
Back to the future
What mates you think I was overkill to replace a ceo?
🙂 Thank you for bringing up a fun memory.
That’s a solid “The entire Caramba” album.
You might’ve heard (of) Habba Habba Zoot Zoot; well, they made an entire album of “plausible sounding” songs in German, Japanese, Finish, American, Russian, etc. It’s really quite hilarious.

“they had bread.”
(I know I’m butchering the joke, please bear with me)
I’d pay good money, and sign whatever necessary, to get to relive the latter part of your third point. So many fun things got removed, not all of it for good reason…
Never mind what the Verge has to say - we all want to know from the lock picking lawyer. If it takes him more than 12 seconds to crack, then it might be worth a Verge article.
She poly bombed me, came out as narcissist, and made derogatory remarks about me making a solid effort to understand poly and maintain our marriage.
Now, she’s still extremely mad at me, still very much acting like a narcissist would, and I’m the one in a harmonious poly relationship.
It’s hella tough, making a split family work when she absolutely refuses to communicate directly with me. My poor kids are stuck in the middle of this mess which will likely never mend.
But apparently that’s better than giving me just a couple of weeks to get to grips with her desires. It’s hard to forgive.
I have not heard of Uplink (nor Bitburner). But I really recommend you try skynetsimulator.com - I am not affiliated, yadda yadda, it’s just a fun, free, online game.

Without a doubt, the bar in Ulence Flats! Different live bands on stage, very eclectic, always recognisable.
Edit: one example (in case time bookmark doesn’t work, skip to 9m 16s)
The 1956 Chevy Nomad, but with '57 hood ornaments - and also actually useful (safe, visible) rear lights, electric drive, airbags, etc…
I love parking closer to the car on my right, where the passe doors face one another. If everyone did this, there would be so much more room to get in and out of vehicles.
And yes, I’m aware that not all cars are single occupant… but too many of them are.
This immediately reminded me of “Pinball Construction Set” for the Macintosh - although it probably should have rather reminded me of the “MusicWorks” icon, or some of the fine black and white clip art of the 80s.
In any case, if that is hand-painted from scratch it’s truly astounding.
You could definitely use lemmy for dating if you wanted to. But dating apps offer eg. geographic filtering and (at least should!) do a much better job of guiding users to make meaningful profiles. Lemmy has no need for such.
