As others have said, Vivaldi is based on chromium and bibs you to google. That can’t be better than Firefox.

Peertube has this fediverse problem. You google it, go to the webpage and instead of getting a list of promoted videos, you get an explanation of what it is and a manual on how to actually join, starting with „select a pot“. You then get to search the list of pots that all have like 10 viewers and 5gb upload limit. I stopped at this point.
That being said, i really would like an European youtube alternative, but not off the „provide your own hardware“ kind.
Tbh. U have been using perplexity as my daily driver to research stuff on the web.
For example, i am German and recently had to interact with our local bureaucracy on a topic i had no experience with. After hours of trying to figure out what to do, I asked perplexity. Not only did it find the right request form, it gave me detailed instructions on how to use it, what the field actually mean And Where to get the correct Values.
All in all using Perplexity properly saved me like 20 hours of trying to figure things out myself
