Salida is located in Chaffee County which went Harris by about +14%.
Palisade is located in Mesa County, which went Trump +25%, and is Tina Peter’s little fiefdom (or was before she got locked up).
Breckenridge is located in Summit County, which went Harris by +38%.
Stranahan’s is located right up the way from me in Denver County, which went Harris by over +56%. Can you guys come get us?! 🤣
Buena Vista is also in Chaffee County.
Basalt is located between Eagle and Pitkin Counties, which went for Harris at +25% or more.
If you absolutely must buy American, I think all of the ones on the list from Colorado save for Peach Street are good ones to buy, but you might also want to try to dig into their disclosures.
I tried this with a DrinkMate. I have nothing but big regrets. Have you ever put too much freezer-burned ice into cheap whisky? It’s like that but it also burns like a motherfucker.
is there a list of us bourbons not from the red states?
Hey, Colorado is on that list!

There is some nonsense law about naming and Kentucky but almost any small batch local whiskey is going to be better than mass produced stuff.
If it doesn’t come from the Bourbon region of Kentucky, it’s just ✨sparkling whiskey ✨
Sparkling whiskey sounds horrible but I’d try it. But what I’d try is a low bar, curiosity once had me put msg in whiskey

I used to drink everclear straight (shooting 95% alcohol in college was a decision, but made for some funny stories), any clue how it compares?
OK I’m still curious but now I know better than to do it with my good bourbon
