Do you live under any restrictions due to your job, such as curfew or restrictions on guests? I’ve heard that’s the case for many live-in nannies.
Something else entirely: Do you believe in the existence of an absolute morality? What does it look like, or where does it come from? Do you have some favourite moral principles?
Restrictions: no male guests allowed; female guests require permission. / no curfew, but giving notice is required if leaving/coming home late & it has to be as unnoticed as possible + can’t affect work performance. / only modest clothing allowed + my hair and makeup always have to be done. / drinking, smoking and drugs strictly prohibited. / no swearing. I don’t believe in absolutely morality. If lying is wrong, should you tell the truth to a murderer asking where your friend is hiding? If stealing is wrong, what about a starving child stealing bread? Moral principles: do not kill innocent people, do not steal, do not lie, do not harm or exploit others, treat others as you wish to be treated (Golden Rule) - not absolute though.
Who decides innocence? And where is the line between not innocent but shouldn’t be killed and not innocent and deserves to be killed?
That’s the beauty of relative morality. It’s all relative.
