An open critic to Milei’s libertarian ideals, and the last argentinian dictatorship.
Is a very good adaptation. If Oesterheld comic was a denunciation of the 1955 coup, proscription, Plan CONINTES, and a warning for the future (eventually, the 1976 coup), the new one is an awesome critic of Milei and the neoliberalism that installed the idea of the individual over the community (since the 70’s).
Even if its netflix’s it exceeded my expectations, as an adaptation of a 60 years old comic they did a very good job translating the story into the present. Making Juan Salvo a Malvinas war veteran was a good choice, as it makes sense within the core message of the story. Highly recommended!
