There are more than 26 Billion chickens in the world… I’m pretty sure we’re just getting fucked by the corporations, once again.

Maybe I just don’t eat a ton of eggs and certainly don’t think about the number of eggs used to make other foods. But that 281 eggs per person just astounds me.
The only thing I can think of that would get it that high is things like mayo, but that still seems way too high.
A quick list of foods with egg in them:
