Idk why I felt compelled to do this, but since this doesn’t have the usual YouTube auto subtitles (and since those aren’t that great to begin with) I went ahead and made my own. I used the output from Whisper as a base and then manually edited them so they have more natural and precise splits and timing (honestly might’ve been faster just to do the whole thing manually because I’m not too adept with AegiSub). Here it is on TankieTube!

The video I used I obtained from the Gofile link from the reddit post, and you can grab my subs as an SRT file here. I’d be really happy if someone shared the subs on reddit and elsewhere, and no need to credit me–frankly, I’d prefer if you didn’t! I just want people to make use of them. And if you spot any errors, let me know. I did my best to proofread them, but inevitably mistakes get through (I already edited the TankieTube captions like three times!).
