I’ve gotten very close, but it’s repeatedly alluded me, unfortunately. I’ve already taken a spill into the retention pond it’s swimming in, sliced up my hands, and inhaled/swallowed a bit of water that ducks and geese have been swimming in for the past week. I’d hate to have caught avian flu and still have it die.

Trying to find something I can use as a net, but not having much luck. Neighbor’s got a call in to some wildlife place, at least.🤞
