    https://lemmy.zip/ allows 13+ users and its focus includes gaming
    Sopuli and sh.itjust.works allow 16+ users too, and I doubt that dbzer0 will ask about your age

      I read in another thread that Lemmy.zip blocks UK users due to some legal issues with some weird laws passed in UK recently. I don’t live there, so whatevs, but still not great for wider communities.

        Hey, just wanted to clear up that it’s only users from the UK who can’t access lemmy.zip directly. They can access the lemmy.zip communities via federation just fine from other instances :)

          https://legal.lemmy.zip/posts/terms_of_service/

          4.0.2: You are at least 18 years of age and over the regulated minimum age defined by your local law to access Lemmy.zip.

          @Kierunkowy74@piefed.social Huh?

          Oh thanks, didn’t mean to pass misinformation! Interesting that it works that way, long live federation I guess.

    Made good experiences so far with dbzer0. Sopuli.xyz seems also good. Not sure what the question on allowing 16+ users is about?

      I am still 17. Most instances don’t allow under 18 users. So, I was just asking. I am gonna turn 18 next month so I can wait but whatever

          Converting dog years to human years i so tedious. Not that I would need it, I am a human with two feet and no fur after all.

    feddit.org has a minimum age requirement of 14. It is focused mainly on german communities, but english communities are well allowed.
