didn’t sennheiser sell off to a chinese company?
That doesn’t seem to be the case. According to Wikipedia (and other sources too):
Sennheiser’s consumer audio division was acquired by Sonova Holding AG in May 2021.
and
Sonova Holding AG is an internationally active Swiss group of companies headquartered in Stäfa that specializes in hearing care. The Sonova group operates through its core business brands Phonak, Unitron, Advanced Bionics, AudioNova and Sennheiser (Licensed). It is one of the largest providers in the sector worldwide.
Good choices. Another one to consider : Beyerdynamic
Can’t really go wrong with Sennheiser.
Those are some cool canadians!
Triangle is also nice for hifi. Don’t know about their headphones though
A few years ago, I got a pair of Triangle Sensa SN01 active bookshelf speakers with bluetooth for my parents’ kitchen, for a very low price (possibly a pricing mistake, couldn’t get a second pair at that price after testing them). They sound really good and clear, I must say – even in a kitchen with stupidly bad acoustics. They’re definitely worth the full regular price in my opinion. No idea about their headphones, though, but I’d be very willing to give them a try.
Canada are more than welcome to become a part of Europe if they want 🇪🇺
I’ve had Sennheiser HD650s for a few years and they’re really good. Great sound on the warmer side (HD600 are more neutral), comfortable and most parts are replaceable and sold by Sennheiser.
