Bought an early production 2209 movement, the movement itself has a 20nm gold plate and was at the time known as an ultra slim movement measuring just under 3ml and competed directly with Swiss watch makers.
As a side note, I have not seen this dial variant and have to say, its aged beautifully with a deep purple patina pushing through the midnight blue and the added sunbeam effect gives it a stunning oil slick visual.
I am more bothered by the choice of green to go with that beautiful blue face.
Call me a monster but I actually preferred the green 😂🤓
I respectfully disagree. I have a similar green strap on my Seagull watch which has blue hands and I think it’s a great combo. Different strokes and all that! Do what makes you tick (pun intended)
probably what they had laying around since it seems a few mm too wide for it too
I need to invest in a slimmer strap.
Run what you brung! Once you get a dedicated strap it’ll be dope!
I’m pretty sure I like nato straps on any watch. Not only because they look cool but also because I like the way they keep the back of the watch from sticking to my wrist when I get a little sweaty.
Thats solid reasoning.
I’ve also found out the strap gets my sweat on it and smells stinky
Regardless of strap, that’s a fantastic watch! Awesome bit of history on your wrist there.

really cool site to find out more on the Soviet watch history
Thanks!
NATO straps are good, amazing watch!
We need a strap type called Warsaw Pact
