Actually my daughter’s school in California has a stress group one for girls and one for boys where they get together to discuss stress in their life. They’re allowed to curse in that group But only there. They’re in 4th grade… I don’t have an issue with it but I hate that 4th graders even need a stress group. This country is whack.

We do too but seems risky letting them at school for those who don’t let their kids.

We just teach them that not everyone is allowed to talk that way and then try to answer any questions that may come of it.

I’ve taught my kids that there are grownup words that they can use once they’re a grownup. They’ll heard grownups use these words but they aren’t to use them themselves. And probably around the time they’re grownup enough to figure out the ruse they’ll be about grownup enough to understand when to and not to curse

Same. Also not to say it in public. The other rule is you can’t curse at us. You can say bitch not you call Mom a bitch and you are on your own and better run lol.

Yep. Already went through that last year haha, one of my daughters called my wife (her stepmom) a bitch to her stepbrother; she was grounded for a week. Thankfully she and my wife are getting along much better - lots of therapy and counseling. My ex is a narcissistic cunt and likes to drive wedges between the kids and everyone else they’re involved with. My eldest is wise to it now though.

i’m curious, why do you not have an issue with controlling what kids say? To me that seems really quite profoundly fucked up and authoritarian.
