Nearly 91,000 people took part in protests across France, said the interior ministry. Many of those marching highlighted the growing strength of reactionary political forces, in France but also in the United States.

    I don’t know if protesting is a viable action against right extremism that rises particularly well via manipulation and propaganda on social media.

    It’s not. It’s nice that there are people who care, but protesting ain’t gonna stop this. More directed political activism is required.
